Andrew Sellers

Enterprise Technology Executive

Confluent

As an architect of enterprise SaaS platforms and products, I’ve spent my career at the confluence of theory and practice of data and AI-enabled applications—applying large-scale data engineering, infrastructure development, and cybersecurity controls to the development and delivery of secure and reliable information services.

During my career, I’ve worked shoulder-to-shoulder with highly accomplished business architects and technology innovators to tame data complexity and help decision-makers identify growth insights and manage risk.

Collectively, I’ve been privileged to lead teams of up to 200 people in building and delivering cloud and physical enterprise technologies and data-intensive services to millions of users worldwide—drawing on deep technical expertise and business experience to empower resilient organizations and discover untapped value.

My work today draws on computer science education and management experience with the U.S. Air Force, where I served as a senior cyberspace operations officer—applying strategic and technical leadership to reinforce the organization’s international network infrastructure and data services capabilities.

I’ve also published more than one-hundred patents and publications, with notable peer-reviewed articles on automated data extraction and cybersecurity as well as patents on applying artificial intelligence and data engineering to risk management solutions.

My work and leadership wouldn’t have been possible without the camaraderie of incredible colleagues, talented team members, and engaged customers—fueling my belief in creating cultures of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and inclusion.
