PEOPLE’S BANK OF CHINA and CHAIN BANKING REGULATORY COMMISSION

Jiliang Shi is former Depity Governor of the People's Republic of China and former Vice Chairman of China Banking Regulatory Commission. Mr. Shi played an instrumental role in the reform of China's state-owned commercial banks. He firmly insisted that state-owned commercial banks should truly realize the transformation of the reincarnation, instead of relying solely on the shareholding system or listing to resolve the contradictions. He strives to create a good external environment for state-owned banks, enabling them to establish mechanisms to adapt to market operations. He was soberly aware that the risks of the financial industry could not be underestimated, and called for the long-term institutionalization of maintaining financial stability and the establishment of a long-term mechanism for risk management in the banking industry.
